This
is the car that I bought. The car was originally listed on
E-Bay but did not get the required reserve. After the auction
I had several discussions with the broker that was selling the car and the
owner who is a well know Mechanic in Los Angeles. He specializes
in Italian cars - Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo and Fiat.
After
a protracted negotiation and discussion about the total scope of the
project I decided to purchase the car. An agreement was
drafted to define the work so there would be no misunderstandings.
This is what it looked like at the time of purchase.
After
going over the car with the proverbial fine tooth comb I was thrilled to discover
that the only rust was under the drivers side at the pedal foot well and
the rear of the seat. The previous owner had welded plates on
the top of the steel without treating the bottom.

very first stop was obviously the body shop!!!
